HEALING AMERICA - PART 1 - THE PROBLEM

Americans are among the smartest and kindest people on earth. Many of America’s self-described “intellectuals” now promote not “the truth,” but “their truths.” They are disconnected from the realities normal Americans know. (see Kimberley Strassel Jan 18 WSJ) The poisonous ideals of socialist politicians, our woke media, social media, peer pressure, (not to mention the lies of the Democrats now in far too many positions of power), challenge intelligent and informed Americans to remain observant and alert for there is much trouble ahead. The truth will always win in the end, but at what price? 

My sense is that wokeness is in retreat. Even the World Economic Forum in Davos is beginning to mouth the concept of getting back to reality. Who knows? Perhaps the elites can turn away from DEI and ESG. Some intellectually dishonest idealists and socialists have begun to examine the results of their demented policies and programs. Perhaps they understand (but will never admit) what mischief they have wrought. Perhaps they will recover from their drunken stupor long enough to admit just how far afield they have tried to lead America and how much harm they have done to our Democratic Republic. 

Thomas Sowell said it best – “Much of the social history of the western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good.”  And “Facts are not liberals’ strong suit. Rhetoric is.”

Winston Churchill – “However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.”

Our “deplorables” instinctively know the truth and what works for they are the workers of America. They are not swayed by theories and “good intentions.” They look at the results and try to live their lives accordingly. They realize misguided Americans have allowed this world to become a dangerous place.

The only true remedy starts with the family, religion, and education. The world’s problems are many and it will take time to change and to heal. Our problems will NOT be solved quickly and easily.

Let’s elect people with integrity who have ideas that can help restore America to its rightful place as our guiding light for the entire world.
